Lakina 810 is an own daughter of FCC Rambo 502 and out of a daughter of BJR Red Line Cyclone. Cliff Haugen stated that he thought Cyclone was possibly the best bull he had ever produced. Unfortunately, Cyclone died as a two year old due to an accident, leaving only a small group of bred heifers to carry on his line. 810 was one of those heifers. I loved the conformation of this cow the first time I saw her in Montana, but mostly I was impressed with the performance of her daughters. From one flush she put five daughters into the Boot Jack herd. With their first calves these five daughters out performed every other cow line at Boot Jack, with one of them ratioing 102 and the other four ratioing between 118 and 122 for Weaning Weight.. This was phenomenal performance considering the maternal power and consistency of the Boot Jack cow herd.
